Twenty-five pedagogical advisors from the school regional departments (having 22 pilot VET schools under their authority), as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Education and the VET Centre attended the training course. At the beginning participants were explained the way a teaching process should be planned, but also how the teachers from the pilot schools should prepare for work, make teaching materials and assess students' performance. Then, the working groups tried to develop a model template with indicators (protocol) for monitoring and assessing the specific segments of pilot curricula implementation and agreed upon a unique model which would be used during their visits to the pilot schools. The pedagogical advisors will be visiting the pilot schools in their own region in March. They will make reports with recommendations to improve the work. These reports shall be the basis for making the programme of the next training course in further improvement of a model template with indicators for monitoring. Also, four quality levels of the work done in the schools will be identified in accordance with the existing self-assessment and external assessment frameworks. |
